Name Change Supports Recent Merger of Two Philadelphia-based Information Technology Providers

Since April 2008, when the companies merged their services, 175+ staff and best practices, the expanded Anexinet management team has worked to become a single IT provider with stronger technology offerings for enterprise, mid-market, and government customers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Three major outcomes occurred during this three month transition:

  • Realignment into two operating divisions–Technology Services Organization (TSO) and Professional Services Organization (PSO). The TSO will manage Anexinet’s growing software and hardware vendor portfolio, such as product reselling, renewals, and service level agreements. The PSO is responsible for Anexinet’s IT strategy management, PMI?/PMP? trained and certified project managers and consultants, project delivery, and customer training.

  • Virtus Partners’ East Norriton, Pennsylvania office will become the corporate headquarters of Anexinet. Anexinet’s executive management team will co-locate in East Norriton, bringing together John Connolly, Anexinet’s new Chief Executive Officer (formerly Virtus Partners CEO); Diego Calderin, Anexinet President (formerly Anexinet CEO); Ken Foreman, Anexinet’s new Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer (formerly Virtus Partners COO and CFO); and John Parker, Anexinet Chief Technology Officer. Anexinet’s former headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania will convert into one of the company’s Near-Site? Development Centers and the base location for many of the company’s project managers, consultants and developers.

  • Combined complementary strategic alliances with leading business applications and technical hardware/software vendors to offer end-to-end implementation services to customers. Alliances include Oracle (BEA), Hewlett-Packard (HP), Microsoft, VMWare, Metastorm, RSA Security, EMC, Avectra, and Altosoft.
